The Fields of Dreams at Bella Vista High School are moving into a new era. We have built them, and our athletes are using and caring for them. Parents of athletes are lending their time and talents, and the fields and tennis courts have never looked better. We are proud to say that with everyone pitching in, we have accomplished our goal of having all of our athletic teams on campus!
It was in 2006 that we built the four new fields around Bronco Hill. Since then we’ve been repairing, aerating, fertilizing and overseeding to keep the fields in the best shape we could. 2007 and 2008 saw the addition of two softball fields and a new JV Baseball diamond, and in the summer of 2009 the tennis courts were rebuilt with new spacing and durable court surfacing. 2010 ushered in a new era of athlete and team club support for the field work, and discussions of even more improvements to our layout have begun.
This website is kept up with the latest news on the fields, whether work days, links to athletic schedules, or a place to look at our ideas for future improvements. The main navigation to the right lets you jump right to special topics, or to BVHS Team pages. Down below are Archives and links to photos of when we transformed the open and forgotten areas behind Bronco Hill into the new fields that are some of the best in our league.
These fields are yours to use and enjoy - use this website to find out how you can be part of this BVHS success story!
