Sunday, Nov 19, from 1pm to 5pm we need volunteers to help fix some lingering concerns at our new fields. If you haven’t been out lately, soccer and field hockey/lacrosse have become glorious sights to see -

come out next Sunday to help restore areas that need help now, and to bring the whole area up to a better position for the coming winter. Sunday, Nov 19, we need:
- A bobcat - to do minor grading at the toe of the hill at SW soccer, to level the area out
- A subdrain installed near the south soccer drop inlet, to allow drainage below the future pathway
- Wheelbarrows and shovels to distribute DG for 4 ft walkways from the road around the hill, and out toward football practice
- Pliers and strong shoulders to re-install the Gum Ranch fencing entrance
- Buckets and trowels to carry soil out to the fields, and fill holes that have formed -especially around drop inlet vaults - lifting the sod up and restoring it at the right height
- Round shovels to dig up sprinkler heads and valves needing adjustment throughout the field
Please send your “Yes, I’d Like to Help!” message to Jim Hartley at jhartley57@sbcglobal.net; remember to include your phone number.
And remind your students that this counts toward their community service hours - what else could they possibly need to do this Sunday before their week off?
