Welcome and Thank You to Don Fagan…who has agreed to take over coordinating the Field of Dreams maintenance activities. Don will be communicating with each of the clubs over the rest of the school year, and working with all volunteers who come out to help keep the fields in top shape for our kids. You can reach Don at oceansports11@yahoo.com.Don is taking over for Jim Hartley, whose youngest is graduating this year. Jim has been involved in the Fields ever since 2006, with the building of the fields around Bronco Hill. ”The one thing that surprised me the most about this project,” Jim says, “was the way this Hill renamed itself after the fields were built and kids started playing on them. You see, before we started, when no one used to come back here, it was called Smokers’ Hill.We thank Jim for his time and his dedication to the fields. We wish Don well. We know the work at the fields will carry forward if many students, coaches and parents pitch in, as much as they can, in response to future calls for the Field of Dreams.
